Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be a good actor/artist?

NO! In individual sessions I adapt the creative exercises specifically for your well-being, personal discovery and body-mind connection. The objective is not the aesthetic quality of the work.

How much do the sessions cost? Do you offer flexible pricing?

The prices for each service are listed on their description pages. I have a limited amount of spots on my discounted price list, which are routinely filled. Follow my Instagram account or newsletter to be notified if they open again.

How do I begin a follow-up?

To begin a follow-up, simply make an appointment by phone, email or directly on the Simple Practice platform. We will find a time and office that works for you and explore your needs during the first few sessions. We will establish therapeutic goals together, usually between the 1st and 3rd session.

What is the first session like?

In the first session, we spend a little more time talking than in subsequent sessions, exploring the reason for your visit. I will explain confidentiality and consent in therapy and answer your questions about my approach. We will also begin to explore your creative preferences.

Are these acting classes?

NO! Drama therapy uses theatrical tools, but the intention is always to apply them for the psychological transformation of the participant, not his or her artistic development.

Do you qualify for insurance?

I offer receipts as a Canadian Counsellor (CCC) and Naturopath that are accepted by most insurance companies. You will find my numbers at the bottom of your receipt, which you can send directly to your insurance company. It is your responsibility to confirm with your insurance company if they cover these services.

Are online and park services as effective as in-office services?

Yes. Each office has its advantages, which you can see here.
